A Matter of Philosophy and the Eye of the Beholder

I captured this image at a sale last year of artifacts collected from around the world.  This mask was magnificent.  I wanted to preserve this image since I couldn't afford to purchase the original.  The mask itself is definitely a work of art.  My photograph?  There is lots of discussion around that to be had.  Is a photo of someone else's work also art?  I could probably argue both sides.  In the meantime, I love this picture and that's why it is art to me.
