Night May Fall

Night may fall but it cannot hide the truth of day.   We think because the sun is hidden behind the earth, the darkness will protect us from seeing who we really are.  I fear not.  We see most clearly when we are not blinded by the light of day.  In the daytime, there are many distractions, the sights and sounds of a world going round.  We view it but we do not see.  At night, we close our eyes to see more clearly what the mind has until then denied.

Night may fall yet if we are wise,  shall say hello to the darkness, our old friend*, and dream of better days.
