Yes, that is snow falling. It was November. 10/9/2019 1 Comment Walking the Path to ExtinctionI saw this old shack with these words graffitti'ed on it. When I came across it today, it gave me pause, especially with all that is going on in the world today.

10/6/2019 1 Comment Along the Mighty Santa AnaThis was taken along the Santa Ana River in Riverside from Anza Narrows Park. Hard to imagine if you know what some locals call the "Mighty" Santa Ana.

He was sleeping soundly even with all the activity around him. I feel like him sometimes, just lazy and feeling like the world can go on without me. But alas it will not go on for today I am flying back to Hawaii. I so wonder if he might be there again. Amazing creatures. 8/25/2019 0 Comments Life ForceButterflies are deep and powerful representations of life. Many cultures associate the butterfly with our souls. The Christian religion sees the butterfly as a symbol of resurrection. Around the world, people view the butterfly as representing endurance, change, hope, and life. Source
I captured this image captured at the Santa Barbara Natural History Museum's Butterflies Alive! 8/22/2019 0 Comments Spooky How Time FliesI found this pic I took in a friend's backyard. It made me realize how soon it would be Halloween would be here. And its not even Labor Day. Tell that to the merchandizers! I've already gotten 2020 calendars in the mail. I think it has something to do with starting the school year in early August. Time flies fast enough already without us artificially pushing it along!
Anyway, I love this image of the skulls. Spooky! Just like so many things these days. :) |
